RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL (SEPTEMBER 5)

THE NEW CREATION WAS NOT “REDEEMED”

Tuesday, September 5th .
Pastor Chris

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people (Luke 1:68)

It’s clear those to whom the verse above refers: the Jews; they were the ones that needed to be redeemed, because they were under the curse of the law. Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed US from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.” Some Christians quote this scripture, assuming it to be applicable to everyone, whereas it applies only to the Jews. Paul was speaking generically as a Jew.

The Gentiles weren’t redeemed from the curse of the Law; they were redeemed from the condemnation of the Law. The very presence of the Law was the condemnation of the Gentiles. When God chose the Jews to be His people, and gave them righteous laws to live by, that immediately condemned the Gentiles. That’s why in Ephesians 2:12, the Gentiles are described as “aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.”

However, in Christ Jesus, both the Jews and the Gentiles have been brought together to make one new man that’s neither a Jew nor a Gentile; that’s the new creation: “For he is our peace, who hath made both one (the Jews and the Gentiles) and hath broken down the middle wall of partition…” (Ephesians 2:14).

This new creation wasn’t redeemed from the curse of the Law, because he was never under the curse of the Law; he’s a brand new man that never existed before: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Your life transcends this earthly realm; it’s the life of Christ. You don’t have a past to be “redeemed” or delivered from, for your old nature was crucified with Christ, and now, you’ve been raised to a newness of life. Walk in this consciousness.

*CONFESSION*

I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus, born with the life and nature of God! I’m a brand new man that never existed before, living the supernatural life naturally, and flying high on the wings of the Spirit. I’m prosperous, healthy, and strong, making impact with the Gospel, by the Holy Spirit. Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY:

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Colossians 3:8-10 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

AFFIRMATIONTRAIN 5TH SEPTEMBER

Good morning my lovely people😀

I affirm that this is the day that the Lord has made; I rejoice and I am glad in it. This is my season, and I’m living in the springtime of my life. The harvest around me is plenteous. The little I do is producing much results. The Lord has granted me wisdom for every decision I will ever take today. I will never make foolish mistakes, neither will I become a victim of another man’s mistakes. Irrespective of the perils and tribulations in the world, I am shielded and protected in Christ. I am like a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out her roots by the river; I don’t know when heat comes. I’m triumphant always in Christ Jesus! My way is paved; my going out and coming in, is blessed of the Lord. Hallelujah! Daily, I go out with joy and I am led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills are breaking forth before me in singing, and all the trees of the field are clapping their hands as I go in God’s direction for my life. Glory to God!

Stay blessed have wonderful morning.

RHAPSODY OF REALITES PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME 4th September

WE PRAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you (John 16:23).

Some Christians pray, and at the end of the prayer, they say, “through Jesus Christ our Lord.” It’s not scripturally correct to pray “through” Jesus Christ; we were never told to pray like that. Praying through Jesus Christ is to make Him a medium. The Christian has arrived in God’s presence, and therefore, doesn’t need a medium. Only the sinner needs a medium; so he calls on Jesus that he might be saved. When he’s saved through Jesus Christ, he’s brought by the power of God into God’s presence, and no longer needs a medium.

There’s a strong, legal difference between praying through Jesus, and praying in the Name of Jesus. To pray in the Name of Jesus is to pray in Jesus’ stead. Asking for something in His Name means He’s actually the one asking for it, and He can’t be turned down by the Father.

Jesus said, “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:23-24). So, the correct way for us to pray is to the Father, in the Name of Jesus; not even to Jesus Himself, because you can’t pray to Jesus in the Name of Jesus. That wouldn’t make any spiritual sense.

There’re those who say, “When we pray to the Father, Jesus intercedes and begs the Father in our behalf”; no, He doesn’t. In John 16:26-27, He said, “At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.” Notice that He said the Father Himself loves you and doesn’t need anybody to pray to Him for you. So, pray in the Name of Jesus and receive answers. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege to pray in the Name of Jesus, and receive answers. Thank you Lord for the power vested in that Name. Nothing is impossible to me, because I pray in the authority, dominion, and character of the Name of Jesus! I’m a victor forever, ordained to eternal fruitfulness and productivity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:
Mark 16:17-18 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

John 14:14 “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”

John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

AFFIRMATIONTRAIN 4th September

Good morning to my lovely people😊

*#AFFIRMATIONTRAIN

I affirm that I am living in the spring time of my life. The blessing of the Lord is upon every that I do and I am fruitful and productive. I am prosperous and successful in every good work. I refuse to struggle in life because I have entered into the rest of the Lord. I am living in the Sabbath of my life; therefore, I’ve ceased from all struggles. Hallelujah. This is the morning of my life! The eyes of my understanding are flooded with light; I see the invisible and I am empowered to do the impossible. I am triumphant by the Word today, always, and forever. I’m living in, and by the Word, therefore, I can never be discouraged or become a victim of the crippling principles of this world. I am totally yielded to the Word, which is able to build me and also deliver to me my inheritance in Christ. At all times, my heart is open to the influence of the infallible principles of success, victory, health, prosperity, and greatness revealed in God’s Word! Thus, my way is prosperous, and I am triumphant always! My life is for the glory of God, and I make progress from glory to glory. I prevail with, and by, the Word! Glory to God.

At all times, my heart is open to the influence of the infallible principles of success, victory, Health, prosperity and greatness revealed in God’s Word! Thus, my way is prosperous and I am triumphant always.

Grace of Truth

Hi to my lovely people

want to share with you about Grace of Truth:

“For the law was given through Moses but Grace and truth come through  Jesus Christ  John 1:17

dc03753d61b3e2fc91e3467a985fc569

Grace is the person of Jesus, truth is the principles of Jesus.

Grace and truth are In Jesus. Many Christians because of grace are on their way to heaven and many because of lack of understanding  of his truth (principles) will get to heaven but having  missed out on God best for their lives. The law reveals men’s weakness and insufficiencies. Grace is a revelation of God’s power to save men from their weakness. Truth is the revelation of what God created man to be. Grace and truth works hand in hard to bring true freedom.

Truth sets us free to enjoy the freedom that Grace  has provided. It is for this reason that we need to be cover up your weaknesses bring them before Jesus. It is unforgiveness, is it stubbornness, is it pride, is it pornography, is it jealousy, is it laziness, rejection, insecurity. what is it? Jesus there is no condemnation but there is grace and truth to you free.

people come to church wounded and leave wounded, they think by attending church, giving an offering performing religious duties they will receive the freedom they need. Freedom is in grace, that grace is acquire freedom. However believing in Jesus is not enough to stay free. what is needed is to abide in him, because he is truth and truth will set you free.

As you abide him, his truth begins to give you new mindset. A victor mindset not a victim mindset. Grace is what makes us abide in him not our works. There is a correlation  between grace and truth. You cannot be truly free without the other Grace brings us to his truth and it sustains sin his truth. Truth makes us understand his grace and cause us hunger more of his grace. for when we encounter his truth through grace we encounter his freedom and when we encounter his freedom the more  we want his grace. The more we encounter his grace, the more  we know the truth and the more we know truth the better we become.

It is for freedom that christ has set us free, our responsibility is to stand in his freedom and not to allow ourselves to be subjected to the yoke of bondage.

Let grace an truth prevail

God bless you
